We were lucky enough to spend an entire week in Mexico with Shirin and Albert (90 degrees every day, really good cheap massages on the beach, and the FOOD… oh my goodness!). We loved joining the couple and their friends and family for all of the big events: a cocktail hour at Hotel Villa Mexicana on Thursday, a torchlit beach rehearsal dinner at The Tides on Friday, the wedding on Saturday, PLUS a relaxed yet exciting “Day After” Session on Sunday! We wandered through El Centro (where Shirin and Albert were cheered for, and begged to kiss!), played around in a replica of the Greek Parthenon (once owned by Arturo Durazo, since dubbed the Palace of Corruption, and long fought over by various entities who claim rights to it), and enjoyed just relaxing at the posh Casa Del Arbol. As with so many of life’s great days, this one ended in the pool.
