Jen and TJ held their wedding at the beautiful Chapel Dulcinea, perched on the edge of an ancient walking trail, overlooking the Texas Hill Country near Austin, TX. Friends and family (including Linus, my new favorite Border Collie) enjoyed the open-air ceremony followed by an impressive backyard reception. This very-much-in-love couple says they’re perfect for each other because they each excel where the other might lack. One of TJ’s goals in life is to figure out how everything works, then make it work better (or at least work in a more interesting way). Jen is the perfect project manager, keeping him focused and on-track. As such, they are always building things together, moving from one project on to the next – there’s never a boring moment for these two. A couple of “not-boring” moments from their wedding day include: Jen sneakily dipping her finger in the chapel’s fountain during the ceremony to wet the ring so it would glide onto TJ’s finger better, and later that night, when TJ first smeared cake on Jen’s nose, but then licked it off for her!
