Tanya and Brad have been good friends for many years, and have always had a deep connection – there wasn’t a specific moment when they suddenly realized they were in love – they just always sort of knew…
One Thanksgiving, they were enjoying the day at Brad’s parents’ home. Brad had surprised Tanya by flying her dad in from Arizona to share the holiday, but of course that wasn’t the only surprise! Brad proposed in front of the whole family. A thrilled Tanya accepted, and they have spent over a year planning their wedding, which will take place next month, at the Kiana Lodge.
We were glad to be out in the sunny afternoon (along with everybody else in Seattle) enjoying Kerry Park on its 24th day without rain (almost a record!). During the session, Brad was full of ideas for poses, and kept Tanya laughing the entire time. These two are just plain playful together, and I’m really interested in seeing what they’ll be like at the wedding – it’s hard to imagine them ultra serious, so instead I’m expecting some serious fun!
