Carol and David

Carol and David met at work, when David was in a leadership development program and Carol was assigned as his career coach. She knew instantly that she was drawn to him, but remained the consummate professional while he finished his program. Afterward, they stayed in touch, and eventually became carpool buddies and started getting together for casual coffee “meetings”. For one of these meetings, Carol had planned a little speech to tell David that she knew he had feelings for her, but because they worked together, he would have to nip them in the bud. The conversation was so great, though, that five hours later, they were strolling through town and ended up sitting together on the steps of Bethany Church, neither one wanting to part ways.

A week later, they were stuck in traffic, laughing hysterically in Carol’s beat-up/backfiring Toyota Corolla that she had driven since college (11 years earlier). David suddenly asked if they could have a “serious chat” and Carol started to cry. He told her he was beginning go “fall” for her, and she knew she loved him. Two years later, he proposed to her on the steps of Bethany Church, where she had never gotten around to delivering her planned speech…

This morning she woke up thrilled to marry the man of her dreams! They chose to hold their intimate ceremony at the gorgeous Cave B Estate Winery, where they were married by a pair of angels (with wings and all)! One of the best parts of the ceremony was the shocked look on Carol’s face when David slipped her ring on her finger – he had traded her wedding band (which they had chosen together) for a surprise version with extra bling!!

June 22, 2009 - 6:26 pm Carol - Laura and Eric - you two were amazing!! Thank you for documenting our special day...it was great to have you there. Not only were you excellent professionals, you were fun to have as part of the wedding party as well! These pictures are incredible and I can't wait to see the others. -Carol
