Erica and Charles

We met Erica and Charles in January, and I have to admit that we were looking forward to their wedding all year. Not just because it was a destination wedding (which we love) in New York (which we love), but because these two are truly unique, and we knew their wedding would be quirky, interesting and fun (which we love). Erica and Charles are both expressive and appreciative, so they got us all emotional early on, with their lovely speeches to the bridesmaids, groomsmen, their parents and each other, at the rehearsal dinner. The wedding took place at The Atlantica, in Westhampton. Erica and Charles literally frolicked on the beach before exchanging vows in front of a pale pink sunset (matched the roses perfectly – who planned that?). The one-of-a-kind cake featured dozens of tiny bejeweled sparrows, which matched Erica’s knockout rhinestone sparrow bag (you have to see it to believe it!). To follow up with the bird theme, we visited the Big Duck on Long Island, and spent some time on a farm that happened to be home to an enormous flock of pigeons…

October 5, 2009 - 1:57 pm Amelia Tarbet - LOVE the shot with the birds flying above the couple.

October 20, 2009 - 4:13 pm Joanne - AAAAAAA-MAZing pictures Laura and Eric!!! You guys created such amazing shots. They truly deserve to be in a Hollywood magazine. LOve the one in the columns, amongst so many others!

October 21, 2009 - 5:58 pm Erica - I really mean it when I say that some of the most romantic times at the wedding (and the day after) for me were taking photos with my husband. The photos are absolutely stunning. Unreal. Don't tell anyone (oops I am telling the whole world), but I look at this blog entry every day, tee hee, as the pictures allow me to recapture the day.
