Brittany and Jack are a super cool couple who have both chosen to serve our country as pilots for the Air Force! Brittany was the one to do Jack’s in-processing paperwork when he first arrived at Sheppard Air Force Base. He told her that she had to take him out for pizza since he didn’t know the town, yet, but she had plans to attend a farewell BBQ three hours away. Jack offered to go along, and they talked for the entire 6 hour roundtrip drive! Brittany decided right then that he was a keeper.
One evening Jack picked Brittany up for a “casual” summer date. He had planned a perfect picnic dinner, with candlelight and everything. As the sun was setting, Jack took Brittany completely by surprise by getting on one knee and pulling out a little box… She panicked, and asked for more time. He agreed, and patiently waited (for just a few more days!). As they were getting ready to go salsa dancing later in the week, he tried the down-on-one-knee trick again. This time, she said yes!
