Mollie and Ken were married in the Chinese Room at Smith Tower, after a year and a half of commuting from Seattle to Thousand Oaks, CA to see each other every other weekend! They met while sailboat racing in Santa Barbara, and Mollie knew it was serious when she almost said ‘I love you’ (but caught herself, and smoothly recovered with, “I…. like you a whole lot!”). Luckily, Ken liked her a whole lot, too, and he proposed to her while they were snowboarding in Whistler.
Mollie’s favorite part of the day was the intimate ceremony, officiated by Rabbi Michael Latz. Her beautiful dress was by La Belle Elaine’s Bridal. The flowers were purchased at Pike Place Market, and arranged by Ken’s mother and aunt. Metropolitan Market designed the cake. Joanie’s Catering provided dinner, and the Jazz Unlimited Band provided music.
