Kathryn and Ken prove that blind dates can be a very good thing! A year later, they married at the Church of Christ in Magnolia. [...]

Northern Lights Photography is proud to announce: The Seattle Professional Photographers’ Association recently confirmed what our couples already knew… they have voted Northern Lights the Seattle Wedding Photographer of the Year! The SPPA is the most prestigious professional photographers’ organization in the Seattle Metro area. At the annual awards banquet, Northern Lights brought home TWO awards: best in [...]
Laura and Chris
It was a rare cloudless day at Lord Hill Farms, for Laura and Chris (two of the nicest, most laid-back people you’ll ever meet). How can you not love a girl who’ll happily swap her strappy heels for a pair of flip-flops, and gracefully march down a huge hill for some portraits near a lake?
Kelly Simants, from Sweet [...]
Talin and Mark
Mark and Talin are the kind of people who can say that they met during a serendipitous weekend trip to Boston, followed by late-night long-distance calls, a cross-country move for love, and a proposal atop Mt. Si, without evoking so much as a raised eyebrow. They just ooze adventure and fun! They got married at [...]
Sara and Henry
A global romance: Henry’s from England, Sara’s from America, they met in Japan, had their first date in New York City, he proposed in San Francisco, and their wedding took place in Seattle, at the world-famous Edgewater Hotel! Visitors came from Dubai, Wales, England, and all over America. Sara wore a lovely Peter Langner strapless gown.
Maureen and Kyle
Maureen and Kyle knew right away that they were meant for each other. She told her friend he was the man she’d marry, after three weeks! While she was studying Arabic in Cairo, Egypt, Kyle flew there to surprise her, and proposed during dinner on the Red Sea. Their wedding took place at St. Francis Church, and their [...]
Celene and Jake
Celene and Jake celebrated their wedding at the Woodmark Hotel, in Kirkland. Austin Beaver, from Nite Lite Entertainment, kept the party hopping (as usual). In fact, Celene and Jake were they probably the best dancers we’ve seen all year, but our favorite part was when Jake saw Celene coming down the aisle. Real Men definitely cry!
Alyssa and Brian
Alyssa and Brian fell in love while swing-dancing to hip-hop. Brian proposed at Chateau St. Michelle, and they were married at the Farm Kitchen just outside of Poulsbo, which has one of the prettiest backdrops for a garden wedding. Elthea Farr from Cloud City Coffee made the cake. Alyssa’s dress was a Mori Lee, with added beading by Darcy Martin-Lenay, for a one-of-a-kind [...]
